It’s time to take action! Creating a strong network and facilitating knowledge sharing is crucial to tackle deforestation and boost sustainable practices.

Join the EMMA4EU Alliance and promote innovation across Higher Education Institutions (HEIs), Vocational Education and Training (VET) organisations, businesses, and NGOs.

Why join the EMMA4EU Alliance?

By joining the Alliance, you align with the EMMA4EU’s goal of addressing the skills mismatch in applying the European Union Deforestation Regulation (EUDR).

You can look forward to:

Members of the alliance will be featured on the website, highlighting their sustainability contributions, serving as a public demonstration of their commitment to responsible FRC management. This increased visibility will also foster connections, strengthening collective efforts to reduce deforestation risk and promote sustainability in the EU’s FRC supply chains.

Collaborate with diverse partners to foster innovation and ensure a responsible use of natural resources. Alliance members can participate in exclusive Working Groups, focusing on specific topics in FRC and sustainability. These groups provide a platform for members to engage in discussions, share insights, and seek answers to specific questions, with moderation by volunteers from the Alliance.

Get support to organise public awareness workshops to enhance Corporate Social Responsibility (CSR) practices and contribute to a more responsible Forest Risk Commodities (FRCs) trade in the EU.

Alliance members, including students and professionals, will have access to a network of potential employers and internship providers actively creating sustainable supply chains for FRCs.

Through collaboration and collective action, members will collectively advocate for policy-level changes that can support ethical FRC management and have positive impacts by advocating for following regulations on deforestation, promoting responsible sourcing guidelines, and endorsing sustainable production standards.
